Strontian Road Solar Farm
WolfPeak's Biodiversity team supported early-stage flora and fauna surveys for the proposed Strontian Solar Farm and BESS.
OVERVIEW
The proposed Strontian Solar Farm and BESS Project near Narrandera is a large-scale renewable energy development led by Grupo Cobra’s sustainable energy division, Zero-E Services Australia Pty Ltd. The project includes a 383.3 MW solar facility with a centralised battery energy storage system, designed to deliver long-duration energy storage.
WolfPeak is undertaking targeted flora and fauna surveys for the project as part of the BDAR and EIS requirements. The work involves walking transects to identify candidate plant species, conducting diurnal bird surveys, and carrying out night surveys targeting nocturnal birds using call playback.
It’s detailed, methodical work. Covering ground on foot, observing, listening, logging what’s there and what isn’t. The kind of baseline data that quietly underpins the environmental assessment process for projects of this scale.

TESTIMONIALS
WolfPeak are a choice team to work with. Led by Tim Stubbs, the team successfully won a bid for us to undertake a large re-development project for a community hub. WolfPeak continues to perform like champions, providing us leadership tact as we work together on rebuilding a strong foundation for the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council after the bushfires.
