William Steggall
Practice Lead – Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management
Will has worked in the ecology industry for over 15 years, acquiring a multitude of skills ranging for environmental field surveys, complex ecological impact assessments to advanced GIS spatial analysis.
He has extensive first-hand experience in conducting and managing field surveys including targeted and generic flora and fauna surveys, long-term offset site monitoring and compliance assessments as well as implementation of the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme via field surveys and BDARs using the Biodiversity Assessment Method.
His extensive experience and drive for learning have led him to become a local expert in the Mid North Coast region and a highly regarded ecologist in the industry. Will’s roles have also allowed him to work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including liaison with clients and government authorities to discuss issues and negotiate project outcomes as well as conducting presentations for the community on legislation changes.
