Steve Fermio 

Principal Environmental and Earth Scientist

Steve is a Principal Environmental and Earth Scientist and the Managing Director of WolfPeak. He has over 30 years’ experience, including an outstanding portfolio of environmental and natural resources management experience from his time as a senior manager on the Skytrain Project (part of North West Metro), NSW EPA, NSW Transport (Infrastructure), NSW Department of Land and Water Conservation.

Steve has environmental assessment, planning and auditing experience on major infrastructure projects in NSW, SA and QLD including Snowy 2.0, Skytrain (North West Metro), various Inland Rail, Pacific Highway Upgrade, Westconnex, Cruise Passenger Terminal (White Bay) and geothermal energy projects.

As an accredited Principal Environmental Auditor, Steve has undertaken environmental and sustainability audits for numerous clients on major projects across NSW.

Steve is appointed by the NSW Government as an Independent Environmental Representative on the Narrabri to North Star Inland Rail and M6 projects and an Environmental Expert Panel member on Wollongong and Lane Cove Councils’ Local Planning Panels.
