Iris has been working in the field since 2013, gaining experience all over Australia. She has extensive experience in organizing and leading teams in conducting a range of surveys, including small mammal and reptile trapping, vegetation surveys, camera trap surveys, spotlighting, radio-tracking and bird census surveys. She also has experience in vegetation assessments of carbon-farming properties, as well as monitoring of fauna during clearing projects (fauna spotting-catching).
Iris has worked for a variety of organisations and universities, providing logistical support for research laboratories, engaging with supporters, and liaising with various stakeholders. Iris is highly proficient in data collection, management and analysis, ecological reporting, and experimental design. She has extensive remote area experience, maintaining camp and field equipment and working in small close-knit teams.
